Why can’t you hear a pterodactyl go to the bathroom?

Because the “P” is silent.

Happy National Tell a Joke Day. 🙂 Most of us love a good joke and we love to laugh. I’m sure you and your friends have all kinds of jokes together. Jokes are great when they’re making us laugh and smile, but one kind of joke we need to keep an eye on–a practical joke, or a prank. Sometimes we think a prank is just good fun, but depending on the person, not everyone loves being pranked. Some pranks can get mean and almost be like bullying. When you have fun and joke around with your friends, just make sure everyone is in on the joke. God warns us about these types of things.

People who shrug off deliberate deceptions,
saying, “I didn’t mean it, I was only joking,”
Are worse than careless campers
who walk away from smoldering campfires.

Proverbs 26:18-19 (MSG)

Dear Lord, Help me to know the difference between having fun, joking with friends and saying things that hurt people. Amen.
