Fun Fact about space for today: On Venus, one day is longer than one year…

Huh?

So, Venus spins, or rotates so slowly, that it takes 243 of our days to go all the way around one time. But it goes around the Sun in only 225 days. So one day is shorter than one year. Weird.

Have you ever had one of those days where time seems to go really slow, or really fast? Sometimes when we are waiting for summer, we just want days to go by quickly until then. But make sure to enjoy every day that God gives you–enjoy the feel of the sun, make plans to visit your grandparents if you can–don’t rush through life. Slow down and enjoy each minute.

I know there is nothing better for us than to be joyful and to do good throughout our lives; 13 to eat and drink and see the good in all of our hard work is a gift from God. 14 I know everything God does endures for all time. Nothing can be added to it; nothing can be taken away from it. We humans can only stand in awe of all God has done.

Ecclesiastes 3:12-14 (VOICE)

Dear Lord, Thank you for making a time for everything. Help me to enjoy each moment that comes, and to not always be looking ahead to the next thing. Amen.
