Guess how else God created you? He gave you a curiosity for life. You probably don’t remember it, but most 2-3 year old kids have a favorite question–“Why?” When you’re little, you want to know how everything works, and you’re super curious about everything. The trick is to stay curious about life as you get older. Today, try and notice all the little things around you. Try and figure out something. Or just stay and wonder about something, even if it’s a mystery. Life is never dull if you look if you stay curious. And God is infinitely patient with our questions of “Why?”

15 When this great army of angels had returned again to heaven, the shepherds said to each other, “Come on! Let’s go to Bethlehem! Let’s see this wonderful thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.”

Luke 2:15 (TLB)

Dear Lord, Thank you for making me curious about the world. Help me to look around me today, to notice things about this world you have created, and to act and work towards making it a better place. Let me be filled with the joy of learning new things today. Amen.
