Help for Mars — July 8, 2020

Want a cool summer project? No really, not some craft making a pipe-cleaner animal. You can help out NASA with a Mars project–they need help. It turns out that the Mars Rover machine that has been on Mars for the last eight years is having problems with its tire tread getting worn down. The terrain on Mars is so rough that it’s tearing up the tire treads. So how can you help? NASA needs volunteers to go through photos of Mars and help map out where the smooth parts are, so the Rover can use the smoother parts. Have your parents check this site.
We all have rough spots we got through, and we feel pretty worn down too at times. But God is always there to help us through.
8 The Lord will lead you. He himself is with you. He will not fail you or leave you. Don’t worry. Don’t be afraid!”
Deuteronomy 31:8 (ERV)
Dear Father, Lead me. Forgive me for when I feel afraid and I forget that you’re near. Give me strength and courage for today. Amen.
