Today is National Let’s Laugh Day. Why is it so good to laugh–besides the fact that it means something hilarious just happened you mean? Did you know it helps get rid of stress and anxiety? And that it boosts your immune system (which helps you not get sick). Sounds like right about now we all need Let’s Laugh Day, right? Add your best joke in the comments please. But here are a couple: Why is Cinderella so bad at soccer? How do you make an octopus laugh? Why does Luke Skywalker sleep with the light on? And finally–if you’re American in the living room, what are you in the bathroom? Answers tomorrow…

Laugh today–find a way to make other people in your house laugh. It can be hard to not complain about doing schoolwork at home, but what are the choices–you can roll your eyes and whine, or you can make jokes and help everyone to feel better. With everything going on, don’t you think it would be good to laugh out loud as much as possible? God gives us joy and happiness in life, take advantage of those moments.

It will be like a dream
when the Lord comes back with the captives of Zion.[a]
We will laugh and sing happy songs!…
Yes, we will be happy because the Lord did a great thing for us. So, Lord, bring back the good times,

Psalm 126: 1-3 (ERV)
