Fun fact: if you take a bite of an apple, an onion and a potato with your nose plugged…they taste the same. What?!?!?? Apparently, 80% of taste is connected to smell, so when you remove smell from those three, the texture is similar and you can’t tell the difference. I feel an experiment coming on…

It’s good to have all the information possible, like having all your senses to taste apple. God is three parts–he is one God, but he is also God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. I think sometimes the Holy Spirit is like smelling the onion/apple–we tend to take it for granted and sometimes not remember.

The Holy Spirit has a lot of jobs but one is to live in us as God’s presence in us : yes, that means God sent the Holy Spirit as his presence to be inside of us at all times. Wow. That’s powerful. You are filled with the Holy Spirit if you are a believer. You are filled with God’s presence. Remember that today if things are difficult, or if things are glorious. You are part of something bigger, and you have the Holy Spirit with you.

You should know that you yourselves are God’s temple.[a] God’s Spirit lives in you.

1 Corinthians 3:16 (ERV)

Dear Holy Spirit, thank you for being with me. You are welcome here. Be part of my day today, remind me of your power. Amen.
