Don’t worry, we’ll get to snails later, but to start the day, something kinda funny. In the news this week, farmers in Russia are making Virtual Reality glasses for …wait for it… cows. Yep, exactly–huh? The farmers are putting the glasses on the cows, and showing them pictures of grassy fields during summer time. The reason? They are doing a study on if it calms the cows, and to see if cows that are calm will give more milk. Apparently the cows are anxious…

Being anxious happens to everyone, but some people have more of it than others. It’s not something that you can just wish away, and sometimes it doesn’t make sense what we worry about. All people worry, even though we know things will work out. But through it all, God is with you. He tells us to turn to him with our worries and anxiety. You can’t always control whether you worry or not, but you can give it all to God.

Give all your worries to him, because he cares for you

1 Peter 5:7 (ERV)

And because you belong to Christ Jesus, God’s peace will stand guard over all your thoughts and feelings. His peace can do this far better than our human minds

Philippians 4:7 (ERV)

Dear Lord, I do worry about things and I do get anxious. Be near me. Take all my cares and give me your peace. Amen.
