Check out this invention that was in the news… Every year on Christmas Island, these red crabs have to cross roads to get from the forest back to the beach as part of their routine during migration. We’re talking LOTS of crabs, millions–so thick you can’t avoid them. So this guys made an invention that sweeps them out of the way as the car goes by and keeps them safe.

You are safe in Christ. It doesn’t mean bad stuff doesn’t happen, it doesn’t mean you won’t ever get hurt, but it does mean that you can’t ever fall out of God’s hands. You are a child of God and he will not let you go.

I say to the Lord, “You are my place of safety, my fortress. My God, I trust in you.” You can go to him for protection. He will cover you like a bird spreading its wings over its babies. You can trust him to surround and protect you like a shield. You will have nothing to fear at night…He will command his angels to protect you wherever you go. 12 Their hands will catch you so that you will not hit your foot on a rock.

Psalm 91: 2, 4-5, 11-12

Dear Lord, thank you for keeping me safe in your hands. My salvation is safe with you and I have nothing to fear. Amen.
