Get ready to have your mind blown with the fun fact today… seriously… Did you know that polar bears do not have white fur? Their fur is actually transparent so they can appear different colors…seriously. And, oh, by the way, their skin is actually black. Check out this video, it explains it all. Transparent fur…

So what does it mean to be transparent as a person? It means you are clear–basically you are free from trying to trick people or give them the wrong idea about you. Honest–kind of like a window to the world–no hiding anything.

What does it mean to be a transparent Christian? One idea is that you don’t try to hide your faith, letting your actions show that you’re a Christian. We all sometimes hide bits of ourselves, which is normal. But we shouldn’t hide our love for God from the world.

14 “You are the light that shines for the world to see. You are like a city built on a hill that cannot be hidden. 15 People don’t hide a lamp under a bowl. They put it on a lampstand. Then the light shines for everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, you should be a light for other people. Live so that they will see the good things you do and praise your Father in heaven.

Matthew 5:14-16 (ERV)

Dear Father in Heaven, forgive me for when I don’t show my love for you. Give me the bravery to shine strong for you. Amen.
