Today is a good one…National Cheese Pizza Day! Fun facts: Ancient Greeks had an early version–they topped bread with olive oil, herbs and cheese, our version of pizza started in Naples, Italy, and the average American eats about 23 pounds of pizza per year. Out of all of that though, a third is usually pepperoni– cheese is fourth most popular. It must be too plain.
Sometimes the plain and simple things are the best. Like in worship, sometimes it’s good to keep it simple and say exactly what you mean. I love you Lord. Thank you Jesus. God is good all the time. God is the giver of JOY.
Be happy and sing to God, our strength.
Psalm 81:1 (ERV)
Lord, you are my God, and I thank you. My God, I praise you! 29 Praise the Lord because he is good. His faithful love will last forever.
Psalm 118:28-29 (ERV)
Dear Lord, You are my King, my salvation. Praises be to you. You are good and your love lasts forever. You are my strength and my shield. Thank you for your faithfulness to me. Amen.
