You believe in God? And you’ve asked Jesus to come into your heart? You are saved! Fun fact, a survey in 2018 showed that 80% (8 of every 10 people) said they believed in God but of those people about a quarter think of God as just a higher power. 56% believe in God of the Bible. Barely half of the US.

You believe. As someone who believes in God, do you think about God during the day? Does it make a difference in your decisions? It may for bigger things–like if you’re going to steal candy or stand up to a bully. But what about the smaller things? Do you pray before going to your team’s practice? Why not? What if you said “Dear Lord, use me for your will at practice today, help me to show your love to my team mates.” Do you think you’d have a different attitude at practice? Do you think you maybe would focus less on yourself, and more on them?

Try to do what is good for others, not just what is good for yourselves.

1 Corinthians 10:24 (ERV)

Dear Lord, Use me for your glory today. Amen.
