PM: May 14, 2019 — Spidey Sense is Tingling…
And the photos are back! We’re celebrating with two amazing photos.

Last time, we used imagination to picture the world. Since we have photos today, let’s practice using more senses. What do you think it would smell like at the top photo? Can you imagine the cool breeze you’d feel standing on the rocky path at the bottom photo, or what the path would feel like to walk across barefoot? What sounds would you hear at these places–birds? Buzzing of bees?
God gave us our five senses and I’m so thankful for them. Our senses create experiences that stay with us long after the moment has gone. Can you still taste an amazing chocolate chip cookie? Or hear your friend’s laughter? God gave us these gifts. And even more amazing? If you ended up without one of your senses, like you couldn’t hear anymore, the other senses would get sharper. What a blessing. Work on slowing down, noticing each moment with as many senses as possible.
Ears to hear and eyes to see—
Proverbs 20:12
both are gifts from the Lord.
Dear Lord, Thank you for sight, smell, taste, feel and hearing–they bring so much joy to each day. Make me more aware of moments that I should stop and enjoy, and to not rush through each day. Amen.
