Did you know that the month of June is named after Juno, the Roman goddess who was married to Jupiter? So in Greek mythology, she would be Hera.

It’s interesting when you start studying history, learning about empires like Ancient Greece and Rome. God used these countries as part of his plan, even using the Roman rulers leading to the crucifixion of his son Jesus.

And years later, God used the emperor Constantine to make Christianity legal. Because of how mighty the Romans were, they had built amazing roads, so God’s word spread quickly. All part of his plan.

God gave us the ability to think about his world, but we can never completely understand everything he does. And yet, he does everything at just the right time.

Ecclesiastes 3:11 (ERV)

Dear Lord, sometimes the world seems crazy and doesn’t always make sense, but you have had a plan from the beginning and you are a God of order. Thank you for making me part of your plan. Amen.
