In the news this week, some people in a town in Germany kept losing shoes–one man woke up one morning and one of his running shoes was missing. He had left it on his porch overnight. People suspected a fox, so the man went looking, found the fox, followed him for an hour to his hideout… and found more than 100 shoes, most in pretty good condition.
Foxes are thought of as sneaky creatures. That’s not something you want to be known for. Are you sneaky? Most of us are at times. Do you sneak sweets from the pantry? Or set your timer for a bit longer when you’re on video games? Or maybe your timer is shorter for chores and brushing teeth?
Be a person of character–be a person of your word. Trustworthy.
Using the Scriptures, those who serve God will be prepared and will have everything they need to do every good work.
2 Timothy 3:17
Dear Father, Forgive me–I’ve been sneaky and lied to my parents and friends. Give me a clean heart so I can be truthful, trustworthy and honest. Amen.
