Today is Epiphany, or Three Kings Day–it’s celebrated in many countries around the world. It’s celebrating the day that the Wise Men, Magi–the Three Kings came and worshipped the baby Jesus. Some fun facts–in Prague they do a jump into freezing cold water, kids get more presents and leave out hay for the camels (and the camels sometimes leave a trail to the presents), and the traditional dessert is “Rosca de Reyes” which is a cinnamon cake, but inside is a plastic baby Jesus figure and if you find it in your piece–you have to make tamales for everyone on February 2, which is the Feast of the Candles.

The Magi came and honored Jesus as Savior. Have you done that yet today? To honor is to hold up and revere, or worship, and show respect to. Honor Jesus with your time, and with your talents. Make today a day for him. If you have school or practice, honor Jesus with your attitude or hard work.

Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

1 Timothy 1:17 (NIV)

Dear Jesus, Glory be to your name. I pray that I may honor you with my actions, attitude and work today. Amen.
