On this day in 1995, the first movie ever made completely 100% by computer-animation came out this day. The movie? Toy Story. Fun fact: because it was the first computer animated movie, it is in the Guinness Book of World Records, the Pizza Planet delivery truck is in every Pixar movie except The Incredibles, and also, when they were making Toy Story 2, the whole movie almost got deleted by accident (luckily someone had a backup copy at home).

Accidents happen–sometimes we screw up. How should you handle it when you mess up? Should you blame someone else? Should you lie and cover it up? Just ignore it and hope nobody notices?

You know none of those are right. Confess, tell the truth–own up to your actions. Admitting it and facing consequences is only bad for a little while–but carrying around guilt? That’s worse. Your parents will understand (even if they punish you), and your Heavenly Father understands for sure.

But if we confess our sins, God will forgive us. We can trust God to do this. He always does what is right. He will make us clean from all the wrong things we have done.

1 John 1:9 (ERV)

Dear Lord, Forgive me from my sins. I lied, was selfish and did not obey my parents with a good attitude. Help me to do better. Thank you for saving me. Amen.
