So the title is different today–any clue why? Today marks the beginning of the final palindrome week of the year. A palindrome is a word or number that’s the same backwards and forwards, so for the next few days, it’s all palindromes. So today was September 9, 2019 or 9102019. And it’ll be like that for the next few days.
Palindromes are the same either way you read it, beginning or end. That is one of the names of God too–the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. Because God is eternal and unchanging–God’s reality is that he is true and just and loving for all eternity, before the worlds were created, and after these worlds fall. God is the same and constant.
“I am the only God. There are no other gods. I am the Beginning and the End. 7 There is no other God like me.
Isaiah 44:6-7 (ERV)
I am the Alpha and the Omega,[b] the Beginning and the End.
Revelation 21:6 (ERV)
Dear Lord, Thank you for being eternal and unchanging. Thank you for being so steady that I can trust you completely and know that you won’t change your mind or leave me. Amen.
