Did you hear in the news about an arctic fox that walked from Norway to Canada?
Scientists were surprised after they put a tracker on the fox–it travelled 2,175 miles in 76 days, going across the sea ice. It averaged 28 miles a day, and some days it went 96 miles a day, which scientists couldn’t understand. They figured out when it was on sea ice, the ice was moving too, which helped it go farther–kind of like when you’re on an escalator or moving walkway. If you want to see how it got there, click here and read the article–there’s a cool map that shows the fox’s path.

Some days it seems like trying to do the right thing is a hard road to take. Some days it is harder to believe in God, or it’s harder to try and be kind, good, patient–some days we just have epic fails as Christians. And that’s okay, you’re human, you’re not perfect. God understands–Jesus came and was human, so he knows what it’s like.
Jesus, our high priest, is able to understand our weaknesses. When Jesus lived on earth, he was tempted in every way. He was tempted in the same ways we are tempted, but he never sinned.
Hebrews 4:15 (ERV)
Dear Lord, You understand what it’s like to be human, even though you were perfect. Forgive me when I fail to do the right thing, forgive my selfishness and help me to do better. Amen.
