It’s kind of weird how so many of our songs and documents mention God in them. Think of the Pledge of Allegiance–“one nation, under God”.
So tonight as the fireworks are going off, think of how faith in God was foundational in creating America.
Dear Lord, thank you for my country. I am proud to be a citizen of the USA, even though it is far from perfect. Help America to come together and be united. Amen.
