Fun fact for the day: there are 10,080 minutes every week.

so…what do you do with those 10,080 minutes? How many of those are with God? Maybe an hour in church Sunday, maybe reading this once or twice a day…maybe you do devotions as a family or at school? If you do all of those things, it’s maybe, what, 120 minutes? So that leaves…9,960.

Let’s get that number up–what’s one thing you can add in this week? No really, I know a lot of you read this and it’s like–done! Check that off the list! And then you forget everything you read. Or maybe you remember the fun fact, but not the Bible verse. Let’s work together this week–how about you make a list of people to pray for this week, and pray for someone different every day?

16 Always be full of joy. 17 Never stop praying. 18 Whatever happens, always be thankful. This is how God wants you to live in Christ Jesus.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (ERV)

We pray that God himself, the God of peace, will make you pure—belonging only to him. We pray that your whole self—spirit, soul, and body—will be kept safe and be blameless when our Lord Jesus Christ comes. 24 The one who chose you will do that for you. You can trust him.
25 Brothers and sisters, please pray for us.

1 Thessalonians 5:23-25 (ERV)

Dear Jesus, Forgive me for my selfishness and for not thinking of you or praying during the day more. Help me to do better. Put a thought into my brain so I remember to pray. Amen.
