Yesterday was Grandparent’s Day–did you remember?? Well, if you did, good job. If not–it doesn’t mean you say, ‘oh well, next year’–just because you forgot doesn’t mean you don’t do anything. It just means you figure out a way to make your grandparents feel special some day soon, right?

It’s easy to take family for granted sometimes–whether it’s grandparents, parents or siblings. One good habit is to try and pray for your family members every day. If you’re praying for them, it’ll be easier to think about them, and maybe, just maybe, you’ll want to do things for them too. Baby steps, right?

Point your kids in the right direction— when they’re old they won’t be lost.

Proverbs 22:6 (MSG)

Dear Lord, Thank you for my family. Be with my _____________ and help them. Amen.
