“This is the day (this is the day) that the Lord has made (that the Lord has made), I will rejoice (I will rejoice) and be glad in it (and be glad in it).”

Do you know that song? It’s kind of an older one, but it’s perfect thought for every morning. God made today, we should rejoice and be glad. It doesn’t matter if there’s anything to look forward to or not, if it’s a school day or holiday–REJOICE AND BE GLAD.

And today is a Sunday, so what better opportunity do you have to rejoice and be glad in it–you get to go and worship the Lord in his house, with God’s people.

That is a good day.

This is the day the Lord has made.
    We will rejoice and be glad in it…

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good!
    His faithful love endures forever.

Dear Lord, Thank you for today! You are an amazing God and today will be a day of rejoicing and gladness because I am yours, and you are good. Amen.
