Today is National Love People Day. According to the Website it’s a day to love people in a complete, whole hearted, no restrictions way today.
Funny… that sounds a lot like how Christians are supposed to love others every day… but do we? We are supposed to show Jesus’ love to the world every day through our actions, but sometimes we fail. Sometimes people who do not love God show more love than we do. We should be a bit ashamed at that. It’s great when the whole world shows love, complete, wholehearted love for other countries, in other areas, but also in our own cities. But we should be acting out that love every day.
Beloved, since God loved us so much, we also ought to love one another.

Dear Lord, Help me show your love to someone today–maybe someone in the hall at school, or on the field at practice. Help me show your love to someone who needs it today. Amen.
