Today is Valentine’s Day–fun fact: did you know that people will spend about $3.7 billion dollars this year just on jewelry? And another $1.8 billion on candy. And in Japan, women give chocolate to the men that they are in love with, but the men don’t reply back until White Day… a month later on March 14th.
Of course, Valentine’s Day is all about love. Human love is not perfect though, and it shouldn’t be. There is no way a person can love you like God does.
The Lord says, “I love you people with a love that continues forever.

Today, know that you are loved, truly, completely, no matter what you do or don’t do, you are loved with a love that goes on forever.
Dear Lord, Thank you for that love. Thank you for loving me. Help me learn how to love you more, to listen closely to you, and to love others. Amen.
