Love Shining Bright: PM: June 11, 2019

Yesterday was the best day to see Jupiter in our skies. It was the day Jupiter was closest to Earth–they say that you could even see its moons if you used binoculars.
The other thing that makes it easier to see Jupiter is that it is in a line with Earth and the Sun–they call it an ‘opposition’, and it means that Jupiter is more lit up, since it’s reflecting more of the Sun’s rays. For the month of June, the planet Jupiter will be the brightest thing in the sky besides the moon and sun.
When to you think you reflect God’s love? When do you think you have your own ‘opposition’, when you shine brightly with God’s love, so that other people can see it? We don’t always know when we do it, but I’m sure you have moments where other people around you know you are a Christian, and that you believe in Christ.
For you will appear among them as shining lights in the universe,
Philippians 2:15
Dear Lord, You made an amazing world, full of crazy cool creations. Thank you. Thank you for letting me shine out towards the world. Amen.
