February 8, 2020 – Color the World

In the news this week, many museums and libraries around the globe joined together to do a week of “Color Our Collections” . What they did, was make some of the art from their collections into coloring book style of pages, that you can download and print. What a cool way to get people to learn about some of the less-known art. The person in charge hopes that kids and adults will be inspired to learn and visit museums and libraries more.
What’s a way to be inspired to learn and visit with God’s word more? God wants us to study his Word, but sometimes it’s hard to do. Some things people do–put up Bible verses around your room, write them where you’ll see them (like on your notebooks), set a timer to do devotions every day, ask your parents to pray for you to remember, and you pray for God to help you too.
Accept God’s salvation as your helmet. And take the sword of the Spirit—that sword is the teaching of God. 18 Pray in the Spirit at all times. Pray with all kinds of prayers, and ask for everything you need. To do this you must always be ready. Never give up.
Ephesians 6:17-18 (ERV)
Dear Lord, Help me to remember to spend time with you each day in your word. Forgive me when I forget. Thank you for loving me. Amen.
